Woman who left stranded vehicle found dead



Amanda Tracy Michel and Zachary Ryan Rode were joined in marriage on July 21st, 2018 in an outdoor ceremony at Boondocks, LLC. Candace Wick of Woodworth officiated the private ceremony. The bride rode in on a horse-drawn carriage and was escorted down the aisle by her brothers. Her maid of honor was Caitlin Wilen of Jamestown. Her bridesmaids were Jaden Rode (Ypsilanti), Mandi Schilling (Jamestown), Morgan Bossingham (Jamestown), Melissa Olson (Jamestown), Bobbi Hofland (Jamestown), and Michelle Dahm (Devils Lake). The couples godchildren, Paisley Wilen and Kace Bossingham (both of Jamestown) were the flower girl and ring bearer. The groom's best man was Joey Oster of Jamestown. His groomsmen were Alex Williams (Jud), Cody Michel (Ypsilanti), Kale Michel (Ypsilanti), Hunter Krank (Fargo), Chase Guthmiller (Jamestown), and Hudson Rode (Adrian). Amanda is the daughter of Julie Michel and the late Jeff Michel. Her grandparents are Darlene & Jerry Michel and Vonnie & Darrel Entzminger. Amanda graduated from Medina High School in 2012 and is now employed at her family's farm. She also manages Boondocks, which opened in 2016. Zach is the son of Bobbi Rode and the late Mark Rode. His grandparents are the late Doris & Paul Rode and Carol Weber and the late Bob Weber. Zach graduated from Jamestown High School in 2013 and is now employed at his family's carpentry business, Rode Construction. The couple live in Ypsilanti with their dogs, Molly & Cooper.
