Kuehl named Jimmies' head coach

The University of Jamestown has announced that Megan Kuehl has been named men's and women's track and field head coach.

Coach Kuehl served as women's track and field coach this past season, leading the Jimmies to the 2018 North Star Athletic Association indoor conference championship and a second place finish at the NSAA outdoor championships. She was named the 2018 NSAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year.

"Coach Kuehl is a perfect fit for the University of Jamestown," said University of Jamestown Director of Athletics Sean Johnson. "She has demonstrated tremendous leadership in all areas and is committed to the mission of the institution."

Kuehl served as interim men's and women's head track coach over the final month of the season. Kuehl joined the Jimmie staff in August of 2017 after serving as an assistant coach at St. Norbert (Wis.) for four seasons.

"I am very excited about the opportunity that the University of Jamestown is giving me," said Kuehl. "I have truly enjoyed this past year as a member of the Jimmie family and look forward to continue building our program."
