Mimong, Pringle head to state

Jamestown High School's Isaac Mimong and Ryder Pringle will be heading to the boys state tennis tournament on Friday and Saturday in Grand Forks.

Mimong, a junior, scored victories over Williston's Colby Nehring, Pringle and Bismarck Legacy's Sean Joyce to become the fifth seed in next week's tournament. Pringle earned seventh place with a victory over Parker Rude.

The doubles teams of Ryder Lunzman/Kaden Williams and Kaden Schmidt/Gage Orr both saw their seasons come to a close with losses on Saturday.

The Blue Jays will only be losing Lunzman to graduation for next season.
