Jan Johnson and Kim Lunde, both of Jamestown, were recent delegates to the 104th annual state convention of the North Dakota P.E.O. Sisterhood in Bismarck, representing Chapter AB of Jamestown. Keynote speakers included North Dakota Supreme Court Justice Lisa Fair McEvers and Miss America 2018 Cara Mund.

Shirley Meidinger of Wayzata, Minn., formerly of Jamestown, was recognized as a 55-year member of Chapter AB at a special "Golden Girl" luncheon.

P.E.O. is an international philanthropic organization that works to advance women's education through scholarships, grants, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. Local P.E.O. chapter fundraisers across the country and in Canada are the primary means of supporting these philanthropies.

Women interested in opportunities for higher education support can learn more at peointernational.org or contact Johnson or Lunde.
